THIS IS NOT AN ADMIN POSITION although we do admin type tasks too
 
We do product marketing for  cross pillar  cloud applications– that means 6 pillars (ERP, EPM, SCM, HCM , CX)  and PaaS (some IaaS)  to keep up with.
And also new cross pillar apps:  such as AI Apps and IoT apps.
We need someone who can write content and chase, and help with all the below.  But is not unhappy doing admin type work.   We do everything here, no one is exempt from ANY task.  We sweep the floor if we need to.  Would PREFER SOMEONE WITH ORACLE CLOUD APPLICATIONS EXPERIENCE and RECENT PRODUCT MARKETING EXPERIENCE AT ORACLE.  Creative design eye is A BIG PLUS!!!   WRITING SKILLS REQUIRED.
Must be fluent in English and VERY DETAILED ORIENTED.  TAKES INSTRUCTION WELL.  READS ALL EMAILS and understands next steps!  LISTENS WELL.
 
Detailed and listens well.   Collaborates well and is not afraid to make phone calls and does not create more problems in speaking to people.  Understands politically sensitive issues.  Proactive but not high maintenance, brings SOUND IDEAS and problem solving to the table – this requires that they be very experienced in high tech software and high tech environments.
 
We are in the middle of collaborating cross-pillars  and creating 6 x-pillar decks :  Collaborate, MFE and 3 decks for Immersion – Complete Suite (long and short version), Cloud Apps Strat, Selling SaaS with PaaS – vetting new messaging with key stakeholders, working with many folks from the field  on new deck .   On this,  we need to talk to a lot of people – unlike a pillar that has "one team to vet thru”.  Multiple what we do times 6 and multiple people in each pillar as contacted.   And also get daily requests from field, dev, etc
 
1)            Coordinates all meetings and chases down tasks  - people need repeated chasing to get things done   3-4 touches
2)            Updates sales central daily – high priority
3)            Updates ipresent for sales reps – conversion of decks and then manages posting - required
4)            Updates content in sales central – promotes content in sales central
5)            Works with India and all content versions and edits – high priority – decks, infog, slides, etc
Messaging o.com reworked two properties – promotes assets in social
7)            Creates content with manager– infog and ppts  - will require some new content for new FY18 Messaging
8)            Creates new pages like Scalability page, creates content for page and works with others for assets – chases people down
9)            Chases down event coordination and content placement
10)          Schedules OU webcasts  – all Morning reports, writes blogs, social, etc
11)          Writes content / promotions in Morning reports, other newsletters
12)          Fields requests from field, dev and others on existing content and request to create new
13)          Forwards info to manager from other areas that are happening – another set of eyes/ears – to keep track of all that is happening and that may change

US Indirect Tax Audit Documentation and Notices Consultant
 
Job Description
Looking for a qualified candidate to be responsible for and administer the day to day activities of the NIBT audit support and notice functions, which may include, but are not limited to gathering, reviewing and analyzing information/documentation, in response to audit document requests, proposed adjustments and other state inquiries.  The function scope includes sales and use tax, business license and property tax.  This role is also responsible for timely responses and resolution of US indirect tax notices.
 
Responsibilities:
•             Manage and fulfill audit requests and provision of tax returns, supporting worksheets, and return reconciliations, exemption certificates needed to support sales and use tax, business license, and property tax audits.
•             Contact customers to obtain exemption documentation and/or XYZ information.
•             Research, resolve and respond to tax notices.
•             Train, review quality of work, and coach performance of a 3 person team.
•             Assess level of effort and resources required to meet deliverable times.
•             Manage the on-boarding and training of new employees.
•             Ensure adherence to service levels and department guidelines.
•             Generate audit specific reports, customized to audit requests.
•             Reconcile/validate filed NIBT returns to supporting source data, e.g., sales tax reports, fixed asset reports, etc.

Must be familiar with regulations at the federal, state and local level. Requires at least a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 6 years of experience in the field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Manages the tax accounting staff and typically reports to top management. Might be a global position and might need to speak multiple languages.
