• Lead and develop a team of Compensation and benefits professionals and administrators in multiple locations/countries and provide subject matter expertise on compensation plan design.
• Work with the business executives & finance stakeholders on the design and development of compensation and total reward plans aligned to business goals & objectives.
• Act as an advisor to Human Resources and all levels of management providing both creative and practical recommendations in support of business goals and ensuring market competitiveness.
• Develop strategies, policies, reward/recognition programs and procedures that optimize employee performance and engagement.
• Partner with Leaders, Legal and Key Stakeholders to ensure policies and programs are fair and in compliance with all State and Federal laws.
• Collaborate with HRES, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, other Sony platform teams (both local and global), Business unit leaders and external partners on programs, process and system improvements.
• Oversee HR Reporting and Budgeting activity
• Partner closely with our regional Service Delivery team on local requirements/administration.
• Understand the Sony North America organizational mission, challenges, business initiatives and operating model in order facilitate the development of aligned organizational priorities and related HR initiatives.
• Foster a positive partnership with Payroll in US and Canada to ensure payroll-related issues and processes are handled effectively.
• Serve as lead for HR in supporting and developing efficient, standardized processes and procedures and recommend new approaches to effect continual improvement of operations performed.
• Lead strategic projects including initiation of a Total Rewards Statement, creation of a proposal to introduce Pay Transparency, introduction of critical role and engineering "Premium" structures/rewards, alignment of business unit Sales Incentive programs, and progressive Talent Analytics.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or Business.
• A minimum of 5 + years directly applicable HR experience in at least 2 HR disciplines
• Compensation experience designing Sales Incentives, Bonus plans and/or an equivalent advanced training and experience.
• Advanced skill level in Excel, including use of V-Lookups, macros and pivot tables
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
What we'd prefer you have too:
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and/or SPHR/PHR/SHRM-CP certification.
• Experience with Workday.
• Canadian Payroll experience.
