Title: US Payroll Manager
Duration: 7 Months (Possible extension).
Location: 475 Green Oak Parkway Holly Springs 27540

Responsibilities
  • Manage and process the bi-weekly domestic US payrolls processes per policies and procedures to include garnishments, special pays, retroactive payments, and benefit deductions
  • Ensure payrolls are processed in an accurate and timely manner to meet deadlines
  • Ensure timesheets for the US non-exempt population are complete and approved prior to processing.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws as well as timely payments to these agencies
  • Maintain knowledge of current and new regulations and reporting requirements and plan system changes for compliance
  • Prepare and reconcile year end documentation and ensure all year-end filings are submitted and completed
  • Prepare and reconcile all monthly statutory taxes and social insurances along with any pension reconciliations
  • Responsible for payroll liabilities by entering federal and state income and social security tax information, 401k transfer and direct deposits, wage assignments and garnishments.
  • Responsible to fulfilling wage garnishment requirements by completing forms; adjusting payroll records, documenting and transmitting withholdings; negotiating with collection agencies to convert garnishments to wage assignments.
  • Responsible for payroll financial standards by providing monitoring accounting journals and costs, identifying variances; implementing corrective actions
  • Balances payroll accounts by auditing information; identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Responsible for Payroll account reconciliations and variance explanations related to salary and wages
  • Duties may include auditing and reconciling bank statements, clearing payroll accounts and maintaining payroll general ledger accounts

Skills
  • Must have ADP Workforce now experience - preferably current experience
  • Preferably current experience with Etime or Kronos time management system
  • Needs to have experience of shift workers
  • Workday payroll experience is a plus
  • Must have worked with HR and benefit interfaces
  • Understands journals and reconciliations
  • Understands state taxes and filings
  • Garnishment payments
  • 401K deferred comp and restoration plans
  • 940 and 941
  • Must have solid payroll management experience and solid work history
  • Must have people management skills
  • Must feel comparable reporting to management remotely
