Job Overview:
The IT Agile Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating Agile project teams to achieve a high level of performance; while adhering to existing standards and delivery processes. The IT Agile Project Manager will manage stakeholder relationships and ensure support and alignment to IT departmental roadmaps; manage project cost and forecasting, as well as vendor and departmental relationships. The IT Agile Project Manager will manage projects relating to IT Data Center Services / Infrastructure and DevOps information systems, networking, and telecommunications.

Principle Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate Agile and Waterfall project teams for Enterprise projects
  • Define and manage project scope and budget
  • Assist in creating Agile and Waterfall increment project plans and schedules
  • Assess risk - identify risk to project success
  • Define metrics – identify measures for success related to delivery of the project
  • Manage project delivery process
  • Manage stakeholders' expectations and communications
  • Communicate lessons learned, meeting minutes, project charts, project timelines, and best practices to group management
  • Responsible for Project Review meetings to the Manager, Program Management
  • Conduct team meetings, as required
  • Work with the team to remove impediments
  • Manage several concurrent high visibility projects using a blend of Agile and Waterfall
  • Role of Scrum Master

Required Knowledge / Skill:
  • Previous skills as an IT System Administrator
  • Previous role as a Scrum Master on 1 or more agile teams
  • Experience with Agile project management of information systems, Active Directory, networking, and telecommunications
  • Proficient at technical writing
  • Experience with creating large project plans and working in a large Agile project management organization
  • High proficiency with verbal and written communications
  • Ability to quickly adapt and respond to shifts in project/program

Required Experience / Education:
  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent certification
  • 4+ years in Information Technology project management
  • Proven skills in technical writing and effective communications

Preferred Experience / Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years in Infrastructure and/or applications as an IT Project Manager
  • Agile/Scrum Certification or similar
  • Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework for the Enterprise)

Working conditions:
  • Some travel required (15%)
  • Weekly project review meeting with IT Program Manager
  • Intermittent travel between offices may be required (15%)
