Job Descripton:
The Localization & Delivery Coordinator will assist the Sr. Localization & Mastering Executive for Studios’ Movie division. Duties include, but are not limited to, tracking of localization orders, ownership and maintenance of expansive localized assets, light scheduling, facilitating internal and external screenings for international related titles and tracking orders with localization and mastering vendors. An enthusiastic, team-oriented approach with an eye for details is essential. The position requires the ability to build effective working relationships inside and outside of the department. It is critical that the candidate possess mid-level fluency regarding localization as it is related to theatrical, physical home entertainment and digital platforms.
  • Track localization orders with multiple vendors
  • Maintain various delivery schedules and internal online project trackers
  • Assist in trafficking theatrical assets
  • Create and track POs
  • Liaise with both internal & external contacts on deadlines and missing information
  • Collaborate with global vendors and regional offices to ensure localized assets are correctly named and uploaded to the proper portals
  • Backup to Manager to attend DCP and ProRes QC’s at post houses
  • Write and distribute localization requirements reports
  • Assist with scheduling international film festivals and screenings as needed
  • Assist with workflow guideline documentation
  • Manage all administrative support functions, including meeting preparation such as distributing paperwork and content, conference call coordination, visitor drive-on’s, supply ordering, team event coordination
  • Work on ad-hoc projects as needed
  • Strong writing and verbal skills, particularly in communicating technical processes
  • Maintain consistent communication with management regarding the status of material creation and delivery
Required Skills:
  • 2-4 years of localization and asset management experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages in the localization process at one time
  • Experience with Excel
  • Strong organization and writing skills
  • Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
  • Ability to maintain composure in a high pressure, deadline oriented environment
Preferred Skills:
  • Studio, Freelance or localization vendor experience
  • Post Production experience with knowledge of the following areas: dubbing, subtitling, graphic localization, and d-cinema mastering
  • Knowledge of electronic transmission systems and/or digital asset management technology
