Technical Skills:
- 4+ years strong knowledge of overall network technology experience with fundamental understanding of WAN and LAN services from either previous engineering or technical project management roles
- Strong knowledge of network and performance management platform methodologies such as: EMC Smarts, CA eHealth, SevOne, and/or Optanix
- Working knowledge of the OSI reference model and associated protocols, with specific focus on the architecture and protocols associated with the following: TCP/IP, BGP, SNMP, SYSLOG, AAA, remote device management
- Vendor domain knowledge for Cisco (preferred), Juniper, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Riverbed, Fortinet
- High level understanding of technical concepts related to virtualization; virtualized network functions (VNF), virtualization hypervisors, compute and network requirements and overall knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN) concepts

General Skills:
- Self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and good team development skills
- Strong independent work ethic; able to self-learn and multitask on multiple projects/activities
- Strong problem solving skills including conceptual and analytical thinking
- Strong documentation skills using Microsoft and Google suite applications
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

- Bachelor's degree (Engineering or Computer Science preferred)
- Desired Certifications (one or more)
o ITIL v3
o CCNA or equivalent experience
o VMware
o OpenStack
- Managed Services products and systems knowledge
- Conceptual knowledge of cloud providers and architectures: Azure, AWS"
